Skyway Foods Announces Delivery of a NEW Food Production Facility in 2017 and Actively Seeks Tenants

LONGMONT, CO, October 8, 2016 -- Skyway Foods is excited to announce plans to build another multi-tenant food manufacturing facility in Longmont Colorado. We are presently in conversation with several companies about building suites to suit, and we are actively seeking more natural foods companies to fill the remaining available space. The facility is planned to be a mix of production suites, dry goods warehousing, and cold storage. Occupancy is expected September 2017.

Two years ago, we began construction at our current location with the goal of building dedicated, high quality food production facilities for ourselves and other natural foods companies in this area. We completed this facility quickly and were full before we knew it. Skyway is now home to eight local food production companies. We own and operate two of these companies, Fiona’s Natural Foods and BellaVia Gluten Free. Therefore, we truly approach design and construction from the perspective of a food company. Today we are very proud of what we've built both in terms of brick & mortar, as well as community, and we feel like the momentum that this industry has gained is only just beginning. Looking forward, our goal is to service this industry by bringing like-minded natural food entrepreneurs together, providing a facilities platform and community resources to breed innovation and help everyone to succeed.

Space in the new facility is being organized according to tenants needs and we are accepting deposits to reserve space. We have begun the process of working with architects, engineers, and county officials to bring this building to fruition in 2017. If you are looking for space or know someone that is, please reach out to us quickly!
