1845 Skyway Dr.

In late 2014 this project was born out of a need to find a home for Fiona's Natural Foods, our growing granola company. In the beginning we were searching for a small, dedicated space to move our company into, but we simply weren't finding anything that was of food production quality. We found ourselves looking at a significant investment, just to bring these industrial spaces up to snuff for food production inspections. The more we explored and looked around, the more food companies we met who were running into similar roadblocks, so we decided to build a solution.

We purchased an old US Post Office sorting facility, and renovated a section of it for our granola company's production. One by one, we carved out more production spaces and moved more companies in under our roof until the facility was full. We also added a 7800 sf addition of warehouse storage that all of our tenants utilize, as well as a 12,800 sf addition providing cold storage that most of the tenants utilize.

The project has grown organically out of a need that this industry has clearly shown. We are proud of the facility and the community of entrepreneurs that we have built here, and only wish we had space for the many more companies that have reached out since we have been full.

We are in the planning stages of this facility and while the details are changing daily, the concept is the same as 1845 Skyway.

That being said, we endured many challenges, hickups, and surprises over the course of that first project, and learned from every single one of them. We are extremely excited to be able to start with a clean slate here and build exactly what we want from the ground up. This new building is going to be beautiful, efficient, and designed specifically to meet the needs of food producers.

The overarching goal is to build a literal platform for innovation and evolution in the Natural Foods Industry.
